By using the adjusting tool, any part of the spreader can be adjusted from the hatch without removing the spreader. Every adjustable part is spring loaded. Adjusting tool is furnished with each spreader.
Flow control gates will prevent grain from being deposited higher on one side of the bin than the other. The flow control gates are adjusted inward until the grain starts to back up into the funnel. This will control the flow of grain onto the grain pans in a steady and positive manner and will also create a cushion for incoming grain.
