For Aerial Spraying
In this type nozzle the diaphragm check valve is an integral part of the nozzle assembly. Originally developed for use in aerial spraying, nozzles of this design are now widely used wherever drip-free shut-off is desired. The spring backed diaphragm valve assures dependable closure with minimum pressure loss and is ideal for aerial spraying, since in-flight inertial forces do not affect operation.
The TeeJet Diaphragm Check Valve Nozzle Assembly consists of nozzle body with integral diaphragm check valve, TeeJet cap, TeeJet internal strainer and TeeJet spray tip. TeeJet orifice discs and cores are often used in aerial spraying. Write for Data Sheet 10945 for list of capacities. Type 4664: Made in brass • Check valve opens at 7 PSI • 1/8" NPT female inlet connection • For flow rates up to 1-1/2 GPM • Overall length is 2-19/32" • Maximum operating pressure is 125 PSI. Type QJ8355NYB: Allows use of Quick TeeJet System from 1/8" or 1/4" NPT male connections • Side mounting provides protection • Includes ChemSaver® no-drip shut-off • Requires 10 PSI at the nozzle to open check valve • Standard Viton diaphragm • Maximum operating pressure of 300 PSI. Type 8355NYB: Made of Nylon with Nylon / polypropylene end cap assembly • Check valve opens at 10 PSI pressure • Choice of 1/8" or 1/4" NPT (F) inlet connection • For flow rates up to 2-1/2 GPM • Overall length is 2-3/4" • Maximum operating pressure of 125 PSI • Viton diaphragm. |
