Screw Plug Immersion Heaters are ideal for direct heating of solutions and oils in holding tanks. Sheath materials are available in Steel, Copper and Incoloy. All heaters are standard with thermowells for remote thermostats if required. (Priced with or without built-in thermostats). Standard with (NEMA 1) terminal enclosures with knockouts for ease of wiring. (NEMA 4 enclosures for flammable materials or wet environments also available).

Voltage ratings are single phase, 120 volt or 120/240 volt as shown. (3-Phase available in some models). ULŪ and CSA rated. All models are standard with MPT threads to fit existing FPT couplings or flanges on existing tanks.

HEATER CONSTRUCTION:

Copper, Sheath, Brass Plug: Best Choice for Clean Water or liquids not corrosive to copper. Rated to 350 Deg. F.

Steel Sheath, Steel Plug: Best choice for Lightweight oils, degreasing solutions and other noncorrosive solutions. Rated to 750 Deg. F.

Incoloy Sheath, 304SS Plug: Best choice for caustic solutions, degreasing solutions and other liquids not corrosive to Incoloy. Rated to 1600 Deg. F.
