Metal Halide: Universal operation allows lamp to be mounted in any position. Primary advantage of this style of lamp is the bright, white light that is produced. Other advantages are: high efficiency, compact size, longer life, versatility, user comfort and positive environmental impact. Average life is 10,000 to 20,000 operating hours depending on wattage. Lamps are clear in color. 175 Watt bulbs are available in (2) base styles. 400 Watt bulbs are available in (2) different lengths.
