Required by many states for use in fertilizer, chemical and industrial plants to protect safe water supplies from chemical contamination. Designed for high hazard cross connections in plumbing systems or for containment at the service line entrance.

Series 009QT: Standard RPZ Backflow Preventer. Sizes from 3/4" through 2". Supply pressures to 175 PSI. Water temperatures to 180 Deg. F.

Series 909QT: This valve incorporates the ("air-in/water-out") principle which substantially improves the relief valve discharge performance. (The emergency conditions of combined backsiphonage and backpressure with both checks fouled can defeat the effectiveness of a standard RPZ backflow preventers). NOTE: Sizes from 3/4" through 2". Supply pressures to 175 PSI. Water temperatures to 140 Deg. F.
