Honda GX Series

The largest of Honda's industrial engines. All standard Honda features plus Full-flow Oil Filter, 12-Volt starter (with back-up rewind on 18 HP model), fuel pump, CDI ignition with electronic advance, oil alert shut-down and 3 amp charging system.

Crankshaft: 2.91" x 1" diameter tapped 3/8-24 UNF. with keyway.
These engines do not include fuel tank or exhaust system see options:
Options: 20-Amp charging system, high mount left outlet, high mount right outlet or side mount muffler kit, Oil filter extension, Remote Oil filter kit and flywheel side PTO.

Built with a full range of features to keep them running for a long time. Honda's superior four-stroke technology includes: • Cast Iron cylinders • Ball bearing supported forged crankshaft • Chrome top piston ring • Mechanical governor • Fixed jet float type carburetor • Replaceable valve guides and automatic decompression for easy starting • "Oil Alert" system which shuts down the engine if oil supply reaches an unsafe level • Transistorized ignition systems on all except 11 & 13 HP models which have CDI systems with Electronic Advance.

Honda's Oil Alert„¢ System offers added protection for your Honda engine. It shuts off the engine automatically before the oil level in the crankcase falls below the safe limit.
