An excellent choice for transferring acids, alkalines and other aggressive chemicals which are not compatible with bronze or cast iron gear pumps.

ChemSteel® gear pumps can also be fitted to handle hazardous, toxic, highly corrosive or flammable chemicals. These pumps can be fitted to pump sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, alcohols, solvents and other aggressive chemicals. Bodies available in 316 stainless, Alloy C or Ryton. Gears available in 316 stainless, Alloy C, Ryton, W88 (non-galling stainless blend), PEEK and Teflon. Shafts are 316 stainless or Alloy C. Slotted bearings to lubricate shaft and gear surfaces are available in Carbon, Teflon and Rulon. Single or double mechanical seals are available in Teflon and Kalrez for excellent chemical resistance (seal flush ports also available). Seal-less magnetic drive models also available. Helical gears reduce noise by up to 10 db compared to other gear pumps. Self-priming to 15' lift.

Pumps can run up to 1750 RPM. Flow rates from 1.5 to 30 GPM. Pressures to 150 PSI differential and 300 PSI maximum. Temperatures from -40 Deg. F. to 400 Deg. F. Bi-directional operation. Available as pedestal pumps, close-coupled to ODP, TEFC or Explosion-Proof motors and in Magnetic-Drive seal-less configurations. External relief valves also available.
