This system has the same basic functions as the SCS-203 except it is totally electronic. No fluid hose or capillary tube from the sprayer to the cab is necessary. A fluid pressure transducer sends an electronic signal to the control panel to operate the pressure gauge. The advantages of total electronic operation are obvious. Because no toxic chemicals need to be routed through the cab, there is no chance for leakage and, because no chemicals are routed through the pressure gauge, the equipment lasts longer. The SCS-313 has been improved to work with corrosive liquid fertilizer.
