The Passive-R4 is a device that is designed to prevent NH3 or LPG release in the event that a hose is stretched to the point of separation. The valves in this system will then release and stop the flow in both directions. Intended for installation on a standard 2" x 18' 6" transfer hose so that the hose will then comply with DOT 49CFR173.315 standard for passive shutdown devices required on certain MC 330 & 331 transports. Adds only 6 lbs. to hose!

The PR4 Kit Includes: (1) Main housing with cable, (1) cable sheath, (1) Outlet housing, (2) Sheath spiral rings, (1) Retaining spider, (2) Cable crimps, (1) Spider snap ring and (1) Cable clamp. Hose not included on PR4.
