Product Information:

Leeson Single Phase General Purpose Motors

Leeson Single Phase General Purpose Motors
1/3 HP - 10 HP, 1725 RPM

  • Able to supply ample power for smaller applications.
  • Adequate for running motors up to about 5 horsepower.
  • A single phase motor draws much more current than a three phase motor, and are less efficient in larger applications.
Leeson Three Phase General Purpose Motors

Leeson Three Phase General Purpose Motors
1/3 HP - 50 HP, 1725 RPM

  • Popular in high-energy applications.
  • More expensive than single phase motors, but require lower voltages and less expensive wiring.
Leeson C-Face Motors

Leeson C-Face Motors
1/2 HP - 15 HP, 1 or 3 Phase, 1725 - 3450 RPM

  • C-Face motors are designed with a rugged flange on the face of the motor for mounting purposes. Most commonly attached to a gearbox, the weight of the motor is supported by the flange.
Leeson High Speed Motors

Leeson High Speed Motors
2 HP - 40 HP, 1 or 3 Phase, 3450 - 3550 RPM

  • For use with high speed pumps, reducers, fans, compressors, etc.
  • Rated from 3450 to 3550 RPM.
  • 2 - 40 HP motors are most common, but larger sizes are available.
Leeson Instant Reversing Motors

Leeson Instant Reversing Motors
1/3 HP - 1 HP, Resilient Base, Rigid Base or C-Face

  • Designed for mechanical doors, gates, hoists, and other equipment requiring remote control instant reversibility.
Leeson Washguard Motors

Leeson Washguard® Motors
1/2 HP - 2 HP, 1 or 3 Phase

  • For wet environment "Washdown" service. The ideal choice for wet, humid areas.
  • Designed for use in food processing and other applications where motors are routinely exposed to washdown, certain chemicals, moisture, and humidity.
  • Washdown motors provide durability and flexibility to help maximize uptime and reduce overall operating costs.
Leeson Aeration Fan Motors

Leeson Aeration Fan Motors
3/4 HP - 3 HP, 1 or 3 Phase, 3450 RPM
OEM or as Replacement Motors

  • Designed for powering aeration fans used on farm grain storage, exhaust fans and air handling systems, among other applications.
Carbonator Pump Motor, 1/3 HP

Leeson Carbonator Pump Motors
1/3 - 3/4 HP, 1 Phase

  • Often used in liquid transfer pumps, vending machine pumps, and other hub mounted pump applications.
  • Designed for use on carbonated beverage and drink dispensers in restaurants.
Leeson Single Phase General Purpose Motors

Leeson Compressor Duty Motors
1 - 3 HP, 3600 RPM

  • Designed for air compressor, pump, and fan and blower duty applications which require high breakdown torque and rugged mechanical construction.
  • Open construction with reverse ventilation exhausting air at shaft-end which minimizes contaminants from entering motor.
  • Wired for CW rotation facing lead end. They may be reconnected for CCW rotation.
Leeson Motor Starters

Leeson Motor Starters
Designed for On/Off Control of Motors for 1 - 30 HP

  • Full voltage starters in non-metallic enclosure are supplied complete with three-pole, single phase, sensitive, thermal overload relay.
  • These enclosures have knockout entries on the upper and lower surfaces and must be completed with adequate wire conduits to maintain the enclosure degree of protection.
  • Wired for CW rotation facing lead end. They may be reconnected for CCW rotation.
Leeson Variable Frequency Drive/ Inverters (VFD's)

Leeson Variable Frequency Drive/ Inverters (VFD's)

  • Reduce energy consumption by controlling the frequency being supplied to electric motors.
  • Soft-start feature allows motors to "ramp-up" to required speed, instead of the immediate full amp draw that occurs with typical motor starters.
  • Energy savings can be quite substantial and tax rebates are often available.
