HDPE pipe and fittings are typically coupled by a process called heat fusion. Heat fusion is done with a special machine* that melts the pipe and fitting, bonding them together to create a fused joint stronger than the pipe itself. This design also enables you to easily add new lines or fittings if required in the future.

High-density polyethylene pipe is rated from -58 degrees to 140 degrees F (pressure rating is reduced at temperatures above 73° F). Stocked in 1-1/2" through 6" sizes (other sizes are available on request). Black with excellent UV resistance - very long-life expectancy outdoors! Not for flammable liquids or petroleum-based products or compressed products like LPG, NH3, or natural gas.
