MotorPump Low Temperature Chiller, Cast Iron

These pumps are most commonly used in refrigeration applications. Chiller pumps are generally used in the food industry such as grocery stores, where food and/or beverages need to be continually kept at cooler temperatures. The extended shaft acts as a thermal break. It keeps liquid 5" away from the motor and prevents condensation and overheating of the motor. Additionally, the pump head can be totally insulated without interfering with motor ventilation. The thermal break design (all models except LTC11 and LTC60) boasts a two-piece bronze shaft sleeve. This shaft sleeve acts as an additional thermal break between pump and motor. Heat or cold cannot migrate to the front motor bearing.
