Motorpump Double Sealed

The beauty of a double sealed pump is that the liquid being pumped does not come in contact with the seal face. This helps, tremendously, in run-dry scenarios and greatly enhances the seal life, as well as, reducing maintenance-related issues that are ever-prevalent with standard mechanical seals. The mechanical seal is housed in a chamber where lubricating product (general a glycol-based solution) is maintained at a pressure no less than 10 PSI higher than the product being pumped. If the pressure of the seal chamber drops below 10 PSI differential, then the discharge product will leak into the seal housing.
