Gas Engine Pressure Washer Belt Drive

MAX 4.0 GPM @ 3500 PSI, General Pump, Skid Model

GENERAL Triplex Plunger Pump / GX390 Honda Engine

Gas Engine Pressure Washers with pulley or gearbox driven pumps. Belt/Pulley Driven Models allow pumps to run at slower RPM for longer life. Gear Box Models allow for pumps to be direct driven but also at slower RPM. Either style is the best choice for contract cleaners or where units will be used most every day.

Hot Water Units Have:
  • 12-Volt Burners that run on #1 or #2 diesel or kerosene
  • Electric start engines with batteries
  • Schedule 80 coils
  • Adjustable thermostats
  • Heavy gauge tubular skid frames
  • Hot water units have horizontal coil design, except for HW4013HGS which has a vertical coil
  • Soft hoses and wands on cold water units.

Additional Information

Gear Box Pump Design incorporates a gear box between the engine and the pump. Lowers the engine speed to the pump allowing it to run at a much slower RPM thus extending pump life.

Belt Drive Pump Design slows pump speed down for longer life of pumps and components.

Direct Drive Pump Design is a more economical way to assemble high pressure pumps to the engines. Eliminates the need for gear boxes or gear reduction engines. However, the pump is running at direct engine speed.

We recommend gear box or belt drive design units over direct drive for customers that will use their pump units on a daily basis such as contract cleaners or industrial users.
