In 2020, Scot Pump discontinued the production of the 231 Series centrifugal pump due to Department of Energy requirements. The direct replacement for the 231 Series pump is the 331 Series. This reengineered pump boasts a more efficient impeller to ensure that it meets DOE requirements. The footprint of the pump is the same. The repair kits do not interchange between 231/331 pumps.
