Wafer Butterfly Valves, Lug Style Butterfly Valves
Pratt Valves has been in existance since 1901 as the Henry Pratt Company. In 1926, they began designing and manufacturing a new type of butterfly valve, which had a rubber seat. Pratt Valves created a replaceable rubber seat as well, making service on butterfly valves easier. They are associated with several other butterfly valve developments, such as the condenser partition valve, rectangular rubber-seat valve and a butterfly valve to shut off ventilation in nuclear power plants.
