Decompression Nipple

Pioneer's universal 8010 series hydraulic decompression tips are compatible with 4000, 4200, 5000, 8200, and 9200 series couplers and are interchangeable with other products complying with the ISO 5675 requirements. Developed to overcome the difficulty of connecting implements or attachments with residual pressure buildup, the 8010-4P-DC decompression nipple allows connection under residual pressure up to 3,000 PSI.

Simply insert this pressurized nipple into an unpressurized coupler. The pressurized nipple poppet pushes the coupler poppet open until it seats against the positive valve stop. The tip's pressurized secondary nipple poppet then opens, releasing the pressurized fluid into the coupler. As the hydraulic nipple has already sealed against the coupler, no fluid is lost. Once the residual pressure is released, the primary nipple opens and both the nipple and coupler poppets then equalize, allowing full flow through the coupling.

The quick connect hydraulic fittings are constructed of heavy-duty steel that is built to withstand the rigors of prolonged operation in a wide variety of hydraulic applications. A perfect option for hydraulic hose setups on agricultural tractors, harvesters, implements, and industrial and construction equipment and attachments.

These push-connect tips are compatible with a wide variety of hydraulic couplers. Couplers sold separately.
