These clevis hooks are heavy-duty hooks designed for connecting safety chains or transport binding chain, rope, or cables. Each clevis slip hook comes built with a hook pin and cotter pin for solid, easy coupling to a chain link or cable loop. The chain hooks are constructed of high-strength forged steel for incredible mechanical performance. Slip hooks also feature a spring-loaded safety latch, promising secure fastening of chain connections or cabling during tie-down applications. The safety latch ensures the load will not separate from the hook when the load slackens or shifts!

Grade 70 slip hooks are an ideal choice for heavy-duty binding, tie-downs, towing, and construction use. Hooks are yellow zinc coated and have higher load ratings than High Test or Proof Coil hooks.

Grade 43 slip hooks are designed for applications such as wrecking chain connections, boomer chain fasteners, and other applications requiring higher strength ratios than Proof Coil chain hooks. Hooks are self-colored.

Note: Slip hooks are not designed for lifting or overhead hoisting.
