These valves prevent excessive vapor pressure build-up during transfer operations by returning vapor from the container being filled to the supply tank. They have a combination back check and excess flow check construction. Ordinary shutoff is provided by the soft seated upper back check. The excess flow portion keeps product from escaping in the event of hose rupture.
