This video demonstrates how to perform maintenance on an ARO PD05P-X-X-B Diaphragm Pump. This includes disassembly of the diaphragm pump, inspection of important parts, replacement of those parts, and reassembly of the diaphragm pump.
Diaphragm pumps are a type of positive displacement pumps that operate by two large diaphragms that move away and back towards the central chamber, drawing in and expelling fluid alternately. A one-way check valve ensures that fluid flows in only one direction at a time. This generates a enough pressure to be used reliably for cleaning or spraying.
ARO pumps are ideal for general industrial and OEM installation applications. Pumping fluids include clean, low viscosity fluids to abrasive and corrosive medium viscosity fluids.
