The ECC Sump Pump has a cast iron housing and volute. Thermoplastic Vortex impeller with a stainless-steel bottom screened inlet. There is a replaceable tether float switch. This unit also boasts, a permanent split capacitor motor and thermal overload protection. 1-1/2" NPT discharge with a 1-1/4" adapter that is included. The unit is also supplied with a 10' power cord. Maximum solid passage is 3/8". Buna seals.
