"Goldenrod" Water-Block Fuel Filter, Clear Bowl Style

The Dutton-Lainson Goldenrod® 496 WATER-BLOCK® fuel filter is an improved version of the Goldenrod® 495 fuel filter—one of the most popular general-purpose fuel filters for farm, construction, and industrial applications. The new Water-block filter media water-absorbing fuel tank filter that removes all water from fuels including gasoline, diesel fuel, and gasohol. As this element reaches its capacity (approximately one-half cup of water), the fuel flow is restricted, signaling the time for an element change. The replaceable filter element removes fuel impurities and contaminants (rust, sand, dirt, scale, etc.) as small as 17 microns.

The Goldenrod® WATER-BLOCK® fuel filter features a heavy-duty zinc die-cast top cap with 1" FPT pipe fittings and an alcohol-resistant clear plastic filter bowl equipped with a simple sediment drain valve. This Goldenrod® fuel filter is rated to 150 PSI working pressure and has a maximum flow rate of 25 GPM. Gravity flow rate is approximately 5 GPM.
