Gear reduction boxes are designed to lower pump/engine's input and output speed without reducing the overall system output performance. Hypro gear reduction boxes can be outfitted to either 5.5 HP gas engines with 3/4" shafts or 8 – 18 HP gas engines with 1" shafts. Typical gear reduction ratio is 6 to 1. These gear reduction kits are compatible with Hypro and AR diaphragm pump models as noted.
