Manufacturing Process of Diaphragm Pumps & Design Explained | Video

A brief video describing the design choices and safety features seen in ARO EXP diaphragm pumps. ARO pumps feature more bolts, dome-shaped caps, 1.5 inch thick casing, and glass-filled vinyl thermoset caps.

Diaphragm pumps are a type of positive displacement pump that move fluid using two large diaphragms. These diaphragms, as they move back and forth, fill with air or fluid alternately. The pressure change in each diaphragm controls the flow of fluid.

ARO EXP Diaphragm Pumps include a number of features designed to enhance their pumps efficiency and safety. This includes a number of extra bolts to increase structural integrity and ripless dome-shaped caps to prevent leaks. Also included are a unique SimulShift valve to prevent stalling and increase flow, as well as a Quick Dump valve to further decrease stall chance.
