Bauer-Style Sphere Lock™ Couplings allow for greater ease when connecting pipe sections. Most pipe/hose couplings require that the pipe be perfectly straight at the connection. But, Sphere Lock™ Bauer-Style pipe couplings allow for up to a 30° offset. Additionally, these highly durable pipe couplings provide excellent resistance to impact and vibration. Sphere Lock™ couplings can handle full vacuum and higher pressures than standard cam-lock couplings.

Type B connections are the most popular style of connection. whereas Type A connections are much less common.
Type A connections are generally only used in larger pipe applications and the coupler arms are on the female side of the connection. Whereas, with the Type B connection, the coupler arms are on the male side of the connection. Type A connections are available upon request.
