    Pump Selection Guide

The Right Pump for the Right Application

Dultmeier carries a huge inventory of pumps from a variety of high quality manufacturers. Below is a listing of some of the pumps we carry and some of the typical applications they might be used for. Please call us at 1-888-677-5054 for technical assistance in finding the right pump for your application.

    Centrifugal Transfer Pumps

Self-priming and straight centrifugal models. Ideal for high volume transfer of clear liquids. Double seal models also available for transferring abrasive liquids. Available with electric motor, gas engine, hydraulic, PTO & belt.

    Centrifugal Sprayer Pumps

Ideal for spraying clear liquids at pressures to 120 PSI and flowrates to 200 GPM or more. Self-priming and straight centrifugal models. Double seal models also available for spraying abrasive liquids. Available with hydraulic, PTO, gas engine, electric motor & belt (pedestal) drives.

    Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps

Excellent for transferring a wide variety of liquids including chemicals, oils, acids, paints, solids-laden and abrasive liquids. Will also pump highly viscous liquids.

Motor & Engine Driven Diaphragm Pumps

Excellent for transferring or spraying a wide variety of liquids at pressures to 1000 PSI and flowrates to 50 GPM or more. Will pump solids-laden and abrasive liquids.

    High Pressure Plunger Pumps

High pressure, positive displacement design. Ideal for pressure wash, carwash, truck wash and industrial cleaning applications. Pressures to over 7,000 PSI; flowrates to 40 GPM. Electric motor, gas engine, hydraulic motor, 12 volt clutch drives.

    High Pressure Piston Pumps

High pressure, positive displacement design. Ideal for pressure wash, carwash, truck wash and industrial cleaning applications. Pressures to 1500 PSI; flowrates to 14 GPM. Electric motor, gas engine and hydraulic motor drives.

    Gear Pumps

Ideal for transferring oils and other clean viscous products. Electric motor or gas engine driven (gear reduction or belt). Also suitable for transferring some industrial chemicals at higher pressures. Pressures to 300 PSI; flowrates to 500 GPM.

    Roller Pumps

Inexpensive transfer & spraying pumps. Ideal for agricultural and turf spraying of herbicides and pesticides. Also works with some light oils. Pressures to 300 PSI; flowrates to 55 GPM. Usually PTO or gas engine driven (gear reduction or belt).

    Submersible Pumps

Centrifugal design, submersible sump pumps for liquid removal or dewatering of pits or tanks or for use in recirculation, fountains, etc. Some models are suitable for wastewater, sewage and other dirty water liquids. Electric motor driven.

Drum Pumps, Barrel Pumps and Hand Operated Pumps

Mount directly to drums, pails and mini-bulk containers for fluid transfer. Many different designs for a wide variety of applications. Electric motor (110 volt or 12 volt), hand driven and air operated.

    Fuel Pumps

Specifically designed to transfer fuels such as gasoline, diesel & biofuels. Centrifugal & direct mount designs. Electric motor, air motor and gas engine drives.

    Rotary Vane Pumps

Excellent choice for transfer of fluid such as gasoline, herbicides, syrups, ink dyes, RO water or any other products with low lubricity characteristics. Electric (110 volt or 12 volt) driven.

    Peristaltic Pumps

Peristaltic Pumps offer a great way to transfer or apply a consistent and precise solution every time. Ideal choice for tough-to-handle solutions like slurries, viscous products, soaps & waxes, pesticides & fertilizers, acids & alkalines.

    Magnetic Drive: Impeller

Seal-less design for leak-proof transfer or recirculation of hard to handle or corrosive liquids. Low to medium pressure, low to medium flows. Electric motor driven.

    Flex Impeller "Utility" Pumps

Inexpensive transfer pumps. Low flow, low pressure. Compatible with some chemicals.

    Metering Pumps

These pumps are used to inject and meter precise rates into tanks, pipelines or other processes. Electric motor drive.

    Ground Drive Pumps

For mobile use on tool bars. Excellent choice for maintaining rate of application per acre at all ground speeds. Maintains a constant rate at any fluid level in the tank.
