Scot Pump Self-Priming Cast Iron Pump boasts a Viton® Silicon-Carbide mechanical seal for added chemical resistance. Furthermore, this severe duty seal will withstand abrasives that are suspended in the solution. Due to the nature of the seal, this pump will handle a wide variety of chemicals but see the Scot Pump Model SSP-15S and SSP-20S have stainless steel pump housings for more aggressive chemicals.
Additionally, this pump is well suited for irrigation and sprinkler applications. Its higher head capabilities allow it to run to max pressure of 58 PSI. The pump line has a max suction lift of 25'.
