SkyBlade Fans feature "High Volume, Low Speed" (HVLS) technology that moves more air at lower speeds. The SkyBlade unique airfoil design moves more air with less energy consumption and delivers top efficiencies to heating and cooling systems. HVLS technology allows for operations at lower speeds with higher air volumes that bring warm air down and recycle lost heat trapped in the ceiling in winter months. In summer months, minimizing the temperature differential from the ceiling to the floor can mean up to 30% energy savings. Also increases evaporative effects on skin and reduces the "perceived" temperature by 10-15 degrees.
