Sphere Lock™ Bauer-Style Couplings are highly advantageous for rigid plumbing systems. Common applications include the transfer of freshwater or wastewater in agricultural, construction, septic, mining, and other industrial dewatering applications. These fittings are galvanized which is not to be confused with zinc plated. While zinc plated Bauer-Style couplings offer similar functionality - they are not as durable as galvanized products. Galvanized products have a much thicker zinc coating due to the difference in the production process.
